This was an experiment for us as we had some Dartmoor fleeces and wanted to produce a reasonably soft Aran weight yarn. As we had some grey fleeces from our flock of Shetlands, we decided to blend the two, and we are delighted with the result.
 
Aran is a thicker yarn so knits quite quickly and will give you a very warm garment, plus the colour is extremely attractive when made up.
 
Each ball weighs 50g.
